| Mathematical Competitions in Serbia |
Welcome!
In Serbia, like in most East European countries, mathematical competitions for high school students have a relatively long tradition. The aim of this website is to present this tradition to both international and local audience, and of course to offer help and support to everyone who is interested in mathematics beyond the
basic curriculum. There are also some materials for those who don't understand Serbian.
This website offers:
-
General information about competitions in Serbia (the system etc.) and
problems from some recent competitions.
If you want to have more, then be sure to visit another website of ours,
www.imo.org.yu. It contains tons of
competition problems from around the world (it is one of the three greatest databases of
olympiad problems and is growing regularly) and all the information about
The IMO Compendium, the first publication containing all available problems proposed
for the IMOs.
-
Training materials used in preparing students for national and international competitions.
These are mostly in Serbian, but a few papers have been translated into English.
- A detailed review of the performances of Serbia at the two international
competitions it traditionally takes part in:
IMO and
Balkan MO.
